I work for a Rape Crisis Centre in Coventry, we talk to our local stakeholders all the time giving them the stark reality of our victims' often appalling experiences.

However, by far the most powerful method of creating impact is to let victims and survivors speak for themselves. If 3 survivors told their story that would carry more weight than anything we can do.

We were lucky enough to have Sara Payne in Coventry recently to run a focus group with survivors and she very passionately told them that they were the best advocates Rape Crisis have got.

She was completely right.

Cheers Sarah

What do people think about using humour in this campaign?

On the one hand Boris is an easy figure to mock and taking the p**s is a classic campaign tactic. On the other hand this is a very serious issue and we wouldn't want to be seen to trivialise it.

Teaching Boris to count - he promised 4 rape crisis centres, we've still only got one, yet he says he's delivering. Could we deliver Boris some lessons in basic numeracy? Or show how easy it is to count to four?

Breaking Promises - we could play with that idea as a tactic. What's the worst occasion when you've broken a promise? Or if promises no longer count for anything, what are you prepared to promise Boris?

Other things Boris has spent money on - out of the vast city hall budget the money Boris has failed to spend on rape crisis centres is a relatively small sum. He himself originally promised to find the money by reducing the number of press officers he employed. Could we find other less important things he's managed to find money for?
